Client: Lily Papers Library

Role: Brand Designer

Year: 2024

Overview:

Lily Papers Library was created to offer a curated, intimate book subscription experience, transforming the way readers connect with literature. More than just a delivery service, the brand needed to feel like a personal literary sanctuary, fostering a sense of community and customization. The rebrand drew inspiration from art nouveau and classic literary traditions, blending timeless elegance with warmth and approachability. Beyond the subscription box, the branding also had to be versatile enough to extend into an e-commerce shop, physical product packaging, and local book pop-up events, ensuring a seamless experience across all customer touchpoints.

The Challenge:

  • Create a cohesive brand identity that captures the feeling of cozy, thoughtful, and immersive reading experiences.

  • Ensure the branding works across both digital and physical applications, from e-commerce platforms to packaging and event displays.

  • Design elements that enhance brand storytelling, helping readers feel a personal connection to each book box.

  • Differentiate the brand from generic book subscription services, emphasizing customization and community-building.

The Solution:

A Story-Driven, Timeless Brand Identity

We created a delicate yet structured brand system, incorporating ornate typography, custom illustrations, and a rich, earthy color palette that evokes the feeling of stepping into a well-loved personal library.

Seamless Digital & Physical Integration

Branding elements were designed to function across all platforms, ensuring a consistent experience on the e-commerce site, social media, subscription packaging, and in-person book pop-ups.

Product-Focused Design for E-Commerce & Packaging

To support online product sales, we developed custom iconography, label designs, and packaging elements that enhance the unboxing experience while maintaining a high-end, artisan feel.
